Analog Devices DC2906A Isolated Triple Output Flyback Converter Demo Circuit Quick Start Guide

The DC2906A is a demo circuit for the LT8302, an isolated triple output flyback converter. It can output 5V, ±15V power. The input voltage range is 4.5V to 28V, and the secondary side output voltages are regulated by sampling the primary side flyback waveform. It can generate three isolated output rails: 5V at 400mA+ and ±15V at 100mA+. The line and load regulation (combined) is within ±10%. DC2906A showcases the high power density, high efficiency and good regulation made possible by the LT8302's high level of integration.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum load requirement for the LT8302?

The LT8302 requires very small minimum load to maintain good output voltage regulation.

How should input or output ripple be measured?

Measure the ripple by touching the probe tip directly across the Vin and -Vin, or output side terminals.
