Sharp CD9088CB Monaural FM Radio Circuit Datasheet

The CD9088CB is a single-chip tuning FM radio circuit with simple peripheral circuits and low application cost. The circuit has a built-in phase-locked loop system with an intermediate frequency of 70kHz, and the selectivity is implemented by an active RC filter. The mute circuit can suppress non-intermediate frequency signals and weak intermediate frequency signals. Its features include all functional circuits from RF input to audio output of a mono radio, mute circuit, automatic frequency control system for mechanical tuning, power polarity protection, working power supply voltage as low as 1.8V, and automatic search within the frequency range from 88MHz to 108MHz.

About this manual

This document is a datasheet for the Sharp CD9088CB, a single-chip monaural FM radio circuit designed for portable radios and audio equipment. The circuit integrates all functions from RF input to audio output and includes a 70kHz phase-locked loop (PLL) system that can be optionally realized by an active RC oscillator. It supports automatic frequency control (AFC) and automatic gain control (AGC) to suppress strong and weak intermediate frequency signals. This manual is written in Chinese.
