MCP100/101 are voltage monitoring devices from Microchip Technology Inc., designed to keep microcontrollers in a reset state until the system voltage reaches a stable level. It can also protect the system from under-voltage conditions. The series features multiple voltage trip points to choose from and has push-pull outputs.
The MCP100 and MCP101 are voltage monitoring devices designed to keep a microcontroller in reset until the system supply voltage reaches an appropriate level. They also provide undervoltage protection when the supply drops below a safe operating level.
These devices feature seven selectable trip points, push-pull outputs, and operate over industrial temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C). The MCP100 has a low-active RESET pin, while the MCP101 has a high-active RESET pin. Typical working current is 45µA. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating Voltage Range (VDD) | 1.0 to 5.5 V |
|---|---|
| Typical Working Current (IDD) | 45 µA |
| Temperature Range (Industrial) | -40°C to +85°C |
| RESET Hold Time | 350 ms (typical) |
| Number of Trip Points | 7 |
The MCP100 has a low-active RESET pin, while the MCP101 has a high-active RESET pin.
The devices support seven voltage trip points: 2.55V, 2.85V, 3.0V, 4.25V, 4.35V, 4.50V, and 4.60V.
For a 5V system, the accuracy across the entire operating temperature range is ±125 mV.
