About this manual

The STM6513 is a dual push-button Smart Reset device designed for applications requiring delayed reset push-button response to improve system stability. It features two separate delayed Smart Reset inputs (SR0, SR1) that, when taken low simultaneously, provide three user-selectable delayed Smart Reset setup time options of 2 s, 6 s, and 10 s. These options are selected through a three-state TSR input pin. The device generates two reset outputs (RST1 and RST2) simultaneously after the setup delay is met.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Smart Reset setup delay selected?

The delay is selected through a three-state TSR input pin: connected to ground for 2 s, left open for 6 s, or connected to V CC for 10 s.

What are the reset output types?

RST1 is an active-high push-pull output, while RST2 is an active-low open-drain output.

Can the reset pulse duration be adjusted?

Yes, the duration of the output reset pulse t REC1 is user-programmable by an external capacitor, while t REC2 is factory-programmed.
