The L5986 is a 2.5A step-down switching regulator from ST with a 3.0 A (min.) current limited embedded power MOSFET. It features 2.9V-18V input voltage, 0.6V-VIN adjustable output voltage, 250kHz switching frequency, programmable up to 1MHz, internal soft-start and inhibit, low dropout operation: 100% duty cycle, voltage feed-forward, zero load current operation, overcurrent and thermal protection, VFQFPN3x3-8L and HSOP8 package.
