The document describes the features and characteristics of a 4-bit dual supply level translator called ST2349. It has a data rate of 90 Mbps (max) when driven by a totem pole driver and 8 Mbps (max) when driven by an open drain pole driver. It supports bi-directional level translation without a direction control pin. The device operates at a wide VL voltage range of 1.65 to 3.6 V and VCC voltage range of 1.80 to 5.5 V. It has a power down mode feature where all I/Os are in high impedance when either supply is off. The device has low quiescent current (max 24 µA) and can be driven by both totem pole and open drain drivers. It also has a 5.5 V tolerant enable pin and ESD performance of ±2 kV HBM on all pins. The device comes in a small QFN16 (2.6 x 1.8 mm) package.
