About this manual

The STM8SPLNB1 is an 8-bit microcontroller dedicated to DiSEqC slave operation in SaTCR-based Low Noise Block (LNB) devices and switchers. It provides a complete hardware and firmware solution for system designers implementing DiSEqC standard LNB device control. The device receives DiSEqC signals on the coaxial cable, decodes and processes commands, and controls legacy matrices or I2C lines accordingly.

The microcontroller features clock, reset, and supply management capabilities, including a low voltage detector (LVD) and an internal 16MHz oscillator. It supports two DiSEqC communication interfaces and four I2C communication interfaces. The device can be configured via specific DiSEqC commands or EEPROM parameters and can be locked to a given configuration.
