This document introduces the features of the L6219 stepper motor driver, including the output current, working voltage, working mode, etc.
The L6219 is a bipolar monolithic integrated circuit designed to control and drive both windings of a bipolar stepper motor or bidirectionally control two DC motors. It features a wide voltage range from 10 V to 46 V and output currents up to 750 mA per winding. The device supports half-step, full-step, and microstepping modes with internal PWM current control and built-in protection diodes.
| Supply voltage | 10 V to 46 V |
|---|---|
| Output current (continuous) | ±0.75 A |
| Output current (peak) | ±1 A |
| Logic supply voltage | 7 V |
| Operating temperature range | -20 to +85 °C |
| Thermal shutdown temperature | 170 °C |
The device supports half-step, full-step, and microstepping modes.
The output current is up to 750 mA for each winding.
