The EMIF04-EAR02M8 is a highly integrated chip designed to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) noise for mobile phone headsets. It features an LC architecture on the speaker lines that provides high attenuation while maintaining low serial resistance.
In addition to filtering, the device includes ESD protection circuitry capable of withstanding surges up to 30 kV according to IEC 61000-4-2 standards. The component is housed in a very small HQFN-8L package measuring 1.7mm x 1.5mm.
