About this manual

The VN5025AJ-E is a monolithic device made using STMicroelectronics ViPower technology, intended for driving resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. It features an active voltage clamp to protect against low energy spikes and integrates an analog current sense that delivers a current proportional to the load current when the CS_DIS pin is driven low or left open.

The device includes comprehensive protection features such as undervoltage shut-down, overvoltage clamp, load current limitation, and thermal shut-down with automatic restart. It is optimized for electromagnetic emission and susceptibility, with a very low stand-by current and 3.0V CMOS compatible input.
