About this manual

The VND5004ATR-E and VND5004ASP30-E are devices made using STMicroelectronics VIPower technology, intended for driving resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. These double high-side drivers integrate an analog current sense that delivers a current proportional to the load current when the CS_DIS pin is driven low or left open.

The devices feature active VCC pin voltage clamp and load dump protection circuits to protect against transients, complying with ISO 7637 standards. They include diagnostic functions such as thermal shutdown indication and proportional load current sense, along with comprehensive protections including undervoltage shut-down, overvoltage clamp, load current limitation, and reverse battery protection.
