About this manual

The STV6437 is a fully integrated solution designed to filter and buffer standard-definition (SD), progressive-scan, and high-definition (HD) video signals, as well as stereo audio signals. It embeds four buffers with low-pass filters—three selectable for HD inputs and one fixed for SD—and a dual audio amplifier compatible with differential or single-ended inputs.

The device is optimized for use in set-top boxes, integrated digital TV plug-ins, Blu-ray players, and DVD recorders. Key features include DC-coupled video inputs, high-drive capability outputs, smart pop-noise management, selective standby commands, and an 8-step selectable audio gain up to +28 dB.
