This document describes the STEVAL-ISA044V2, an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the features of the ST1S10 synchronous step-down DC-DC converter. The device is optimized for powering high voltages in LCD applications and low voltage digital core HDD applications.
The evaluation board utilizes a current mode PWM architecture with a fixed internal switching frequency of 900 kHz, which can be synchronized to an external clock between 400 kHz and 1.2 MHz. It provides up to 3 A output over an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 18 V.
The maximum output current is 3 A.
The input voltage range is 2.5 V to 18 V.
The thermal shutdown circuit activates at 150 °C.
