This document describes an integrated, precision battery sensor ADuC7033 Rev. B for automotive applications. The product features high precision ADCs, dual channel simultaneous sampling 16-bit Σ-Δ ADCs, programmable ADC throughput, fully differential buffered input, programmable gain, digital comparators, voltage channel, etc.
The ADuC7033 is an integrated precision battery sensor designed for automotive applications. It combines a 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC with dual-channel simultaneous sampling capabilities and a programmable throughput ranging from 1 Hz to 8 kHz. The device includes an on-chip 5 ppm/°C voltage reference and supports fully differential, buffered inputs for current channels as well as buffered inputs for voltage and temperature channels.
At its core, the ADuC7033 features an ARM7TDMI microcontroller with a 16-/32-bit RISC architecture and a 20.48 MHz PLL. It provides 96 kB of Flash/EE memory and 6 kB of SRAM, supporting in-circuit download via JTAG and LIN. The device is fully specified for operation from −40°C to +115°C and operates directly from a 12 V battery supply.
