This document is the operation manual for the dbx Model 242 Parametric Equalizer. The unit features three bands of fully parametric peak/dip equalization and two bands of shelving equalization in a compact one-rack-space design. It includes patented Variable Mode Slope Selection (VMSS) filters that allow high and low shelving bands to morph between typical shelving operation and infinite-depth notching or high- and low-pass filtering.
The LOW band shelving frequency control ranges from 20Hz to 630Hz.
