The AD6488 AFE enables communication devices to operate at higher data rates as specified in the new ADSL2+ standard. It supports enhanced downstream performance up to 24 Mbps for ADSL2+. It is compliant with G.992.1 (Annex A, B, C, I, J), G.992.2, T1.413 Issue 2, TR-048, ETSI ETR328. It is G.992.3 and G.992.4 compliant for ADSL2, and G.992.5 compliant for ADSL2+. It directly connects to the entire line of ADI CPE ADSL and Network Processors. It has a compact 64 pin LFCSP package and on-chip voltage regulators. It operates in commercial temperature range and interfaces to 3.3V or 5V digital logic.
