The FSQ0265RN is a Green Mode Fairchild Power Switch (FPS™) designed for valley switching converters to achieve low EMI and high efficiency. It integrates a Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) controller and a SenseFET, optimized for applications such as power supplies for DVP players, DVD recorders, set-top boxes, adapters, and auxiliary power supplies for PCs and TVs.
The device features optimized valley switching operation with variable frequency control and inherent frequency modulation. Key protection functions include Overload Protection (OLP), Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Abnormal Over-Current Protection (AOCP), and Internal Thermal Shutdown (TSD). It also includes an Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO) with hysteresis, an internal startup circuit, and a built-in soft-start of 15ms.
