The Hayward Aqua Trol is an automatic chlorine generation system designed specifically for residential above-ground swimming pools. It utilizes a built-in filter pump timer to control daily filtration and sanitization by converting salt into free chlorine through the process of electrolysis. The system eliminates the need for frequent addition of sanitizing chemicals, recycling the reaction products back into sodium chloride.
