This document introduces the use and principle of AMDIS, including software installation, configuration, use and data analysis.
The document describes the Automated Mass Spectrometry Deconvolution and Identification System (AMDIS), a program developed at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. AMDIS deconvolutes impure mass spectra resulting from coelutions or background contaminants in GC/MSD and LC/MSD data to display reconstructed chromatograms.
The system deconvolutes impure GC/MSD and LC/MSD mass spectra that result from coelutions or background contaminants.
The libraries are provided for use in environmental, drugs-of-abuse, toxicological, and flavor/fragrance applications.
The program has been tested on over 30,000 data files against a library of potential Chemical Warfare agents.
