The accessory CD-ROM contains application software, including File Utility, which allows users to transfer data between their computer and the Clavinova. The disc also includes drivers for USB and serial connections, MIDI setup tools, demonstration songs, and music learning software like Adventus Piano Suite Lite.
Installation procedures differ depending on whether you are using a Windows or Macintosh operating system. Before installing, verify that your system meets the requirements and connect the Clavinova to your computer via USB, serial cable, or MIDI interface as described in the guide.
Doing so may result in irreparable damage to your audio CD player.
You must set the type of characters on your Clavinova ([CharacterCode]) to match the language of the operating system for the computer.
