This document describes the features and characteristics of the Super Sequencer™ with Margining Control and Auxiliary ADC Inputs ADM1066 Rev. 0 product, including a complete supervisory and sequencing solution, 10 supply fault detectors, 5 selectable input attenuators, 5 dual-function inputs, 10 programmable output drivers, and a sequencing engine implementing state machine control.
The ADM1066 is a configurable supervisory/sequencing device designed as a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple supply systems. It integrates ten programmable inputs for monitoring under, over, or out-of-window faults on up to ten supplies, along with ten programmable output drivers (PDOs) that can function as logic enables or drive N-channel FET gates.
The device includes a 12-bit ADC for readback of supervised voltages and six 8-bit voltage output DACs to implement closed-loop margining systems. It features a sequencing engine based on a state machine with up to 63 states, allowing flexible control of outputs based on input conditions. The ADM1066 is controlled via an industry-standard 2-wire SMBus interface.
