About this manual

The AD7416, AD7417, and AD7418 are 10-bit devices featuring a successive approximation converter, an on-chip temperature sensor, and a track-and-hold circuit. They operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply and include an on-chip reference or support for an external one.

The AD7416 is designed solely for temperature monitoring in an 8-lead package, while the AD7417 and AD7418 provide four single-ended analog input channels in addition to the temperature sensor. All devices feature a configurable serial bus address allowing up to eight units on a single I2C-compatible bus.
