About this manual

The MAX5722 is a dual, 12-bit, low-power, buffered voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) packaged in an 8-pin uMAX package. It features a wide single-supply range of +2.7V to +5.5V and ultra-low power consumption with less than 0.3µA supply current in power-down mode.

The device includes on-chip precision output amplifiers that swing rail-to-rail and accepts a reference input voltage from 0 to VDD. It utilizes a 20MHz, 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP protocols. The MAX5722 guarantees 12-bit monotonicity and includes a power-on reset circuit that loads the output with a 100kΩ resistor to ground.
