About this manual

The SC11485/SC11487/SC11489/SC12485/SC12487/SC12489 is a family of 16-bit HiCOLOR palettes that support both the popular HiCOLOR-15 format and the HiCOLOR-16 color format. These devices maintain color integrity when multiple windows are displayed simultaneously and offer anti-aliasing capability to improve graphics quality.

The palette generates RS-343A compatible red, green, and blue video signals capable of driving doubly-terminated 75Ω coax directly, as well as RS-170 compatible video signals into a singly-terminated 75Ω load without requiring external buffering. The family includes models with either three 6-bit or three 8-bit D/A converters.
