This document introduces an integrated current sensing technology that can be used to monitor and protect automotive systems. The technology uses the LT ®6100 and LTC6101 high side current-sense amplifiers to accurately measure the current draw of each subsystem. This technology can help automotive designers to perform real-time monitoring in harsh automotive battery-bus environments.
