This document describes the features and characteristics of the B32656S series metallized polypropylene film capacitors produced by EPCOS AG. These capacitors have high pulse strength and high contact reliability, stable capacitance value, and are suitable for applications such as IGBT snubbering. The capacitors are constructed with polypropylene film dielectric and wound capacitor technology with internal series connection. They have a plastic case with good sealing properties and strap terminals made of tinned copper with low inductance. The B32656S series offers a range of options with wide rated voltage range.
