About this manual

The ICM7224 (LCD) and ICM7225 (LED) are high‑speed 4‑digit counters with segment decoders, leading‑zero blanking, store and reset inputs, and a carry output for cascading multiple devices. They operate from DC to 25 MHz while drawing only about 10 µA of supply current.

Key features include an on‑board oscillator (19 kHz), low‑power CMOS design, brightness control for the LED version, and the ability to cascade eight or more digits. Typical applications are unit counters, frequency counters, tachometers, hour meters and totalizers.
