This manual is intended for administrators and users of the AXIS 209FD/FD-R Network Camera, and is applicable for software release 4.47 and later. It includes instructions for using and managing the camera on your network. Previous experience of networking will be of use when using this product. The Axis 209FD/FD-R/FD-R M12 is a high‑performance fixed dome network camera designed for indoor office use and ruggedized for humid, in‑vehicle environments. It offers up to 30 fps VGA video, Power over Ethernet, and advanced security features such as multi‑level password protection and HTTPS encryption.
This manual covers installation, initial access, configuration of network and video settings, security options, event handling, and detailed technical specifications. It also explains how to use the AXIS Media Control, stream MPEG‑4 or Motion JPEG video, and perform maintenance tasks.
