Use the Configure Root Password dialog that appears on first access; you can set it via an encrypted HTTPS connection or a standard HTTP connection.
A shielded (STP) Ethernet cable must be used between the camera and the midspan to protect against power surges.
Select the Reset to factory default settings option in the menu (see page 46) to restore the camera to its original configuration.
