TPS65820 is a single-cell lithium-ion battery and power management IC from ti, which has host interface, battery charger, integrated power supply and other functions.
The TPS65820 integrates charge management, multiple regulated power supplies, system management and display functions in a compact 7 mm × 7 mm QFN package. It provides up to 1.5 A charge current, nine LDO regulators, two programmable 600 mA buck converters, and a rich I²C host interface for configuring voltages, thresholds and operating modes.
The device includes extensive protection and monitoring features such as thermal shutdown, over‑voltage protection, under‑voltage lockout, and programmable safety timers. Electrical characteristics cover a wide input voltage range (4.35‑16.5 V), low quiescent currents (370 µA in sleep), and operation over –40 °C to 85 °C.
