Open the Configure Root Password dialog on first access, click Create self‑signed certificate, then enter and confirm the new password.
A shielded network cable (STP) must be used between the camera and the network switch to protect against power surges.
Before removal, unmount the SD card via Setup > System Options > Storage > SD Card and click Unmount.
