This document describes the features and characteristics of the MDC_TWR20W.A03 TWR A-Series 20W triple output DC/DC converters. The product features include low cost, high reliability, full 20W output power, power allocation among outputs, SMT-on-pcb construction, multiple testing and certification, multiple output voltages and input voltage ranges, small size, and 1500Vdc isolation.
The C&D TWR A‑Series 20 W triple‑output DC/DC converters provide a primary +5 V output and two auxiliary ±12 V or ±15 V outputs in a compact 2" × 2" × 0.45" package. They feature fully isolated 500 Vdc isolation, up to 82 % efficiency, and an operating temperature range from –40 °C to +100 °C.
The converters are offered in two input‑voltage families: D12A models accept 9‑36 V and D48A models accept 18‑75 V. They include protection functions such as input over‑voltage shutdown, reverse‑polarity protection, and output over‑voltage clamping, and are qualified to UL 60950/EN 60950 and CE standards.
