This document provides information on the Terminal Assemblies product group produced by Vero Technologies Ltd., including different specifications for different thicknesses of pcbs. The product consists of two parts: a formed wire loop and a sintered glass bead.
The Vero Terminal Assemblies, Product Group 20, are offered for 1.6 mm and 2.4 mm PCB thicknesses, with both standard and long‑leg versions. Various colour‑coded bead terminals are available for hole sizes of 1.02 mm and 1.32 mm.
Each assembly consists of a formed phosphor‑bronze wire loop and a sintered glass bead. The wire loop is made from a 5 % phosphor‑bronze alloy (BS2873) and the bead is a boro‑silicate glass, electroplated with bright tin (3‑5 µm).
| Hole size for 1.6 mm PCB | 1.02 mm |
|---|---|
| Hole size for 1.6 mm PCB (alternative) | 1.32 mm |
| Hole size for 2.4 mm PCB (long leg) | 1.32 mm |
| Wire loop material | Phosphor Bronze (BS2873) PB102 Cu Sn |
| Wire loop composition – Sn | 45‑55 % |
| Wire loop composition – P | 0.02‑0.40 % |
| Plating | Electroplated Bright Tin, 3.0‑5.0 µm |
| Bead material | Boro Silicate Sintered Glass |
| Loss angle at 1 MHz (20 °C) | 5.7 |
They are suitable for both 1.6 mm thick PCBs and, in a long‑leg version, for 2.4 mm thick PCBs.
Part numbers include 20‑2137, 20‑313137, 20‑313138, 20‑313139, 20‑313140, 20‑2136, and several others up to 20‑313149.
The wire loop is made from phosphor bronze (BS2873) PB102 copper‑tin alloy.
Terminals are electroplated with bright tin, 3.0‑5.0 µm thick.
