About this manual

The MAX4594–MAX4597 family are single‑pole/single‑throw (SPST) analog switches that operate from a single +2.0 V to +5.5 V supply. MAX4594/MAX4596 are normally‑open (NO) devices, while MAX4595/MAX4597 are normally‑closed (NC). They are offered in ultra‑small 5‑pin SC70 and 6‑pin µDFN packages.

These switches feature a maximum on‑resistance of 10 Ω, leakage currents as low as 0.5 nA, and fast turn‑on/turn‑off times (tON ≤ 35 ns, tOFF ≤ 40 ns). They are rated for –40 °C to +85 °C operation and are suitable for cellular phones, battery‑operated equipment, audio/video routing, communications circuits, PCMCIA cards, and DSL modems.
