Maxim MAX4674 2:1 Analog Multiplexer Datasheet

The MAX4674 is a low-voltage CMOS analog switch containing four 2:1 multiplexers/demultiplexer. When powered from a single +5V supply, it features a low 4Ω max on-resistance (RON), 0.4Ω max RON matching between channels, and 0.8Ω RON flatness over the entire signal range. Off-leakage current is only 0.5nA max at +25°C. The MAX4674 features fast turn-on (tON) and turn-off (tOFF) times of 18ns and 6ns, respectively, and is available in QFN, QSOP, TSSOP, and SO packages. This low-voltage multiplexer operates with a +1.8V to +5.5V single supply. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility with +5V operation.

About this manual

The MAX4674 is a low‑voltage CMOS analog switch that contains four 2:1 multiplexers/demultiplexers. It operates from a single +1.8 V to +5.5 V supply, provides a low on‑resistance (typical 100 Ω, max 4 Ω at +5 V) and very fast turn‑on/turn‑off times (18 ns max turn‑on, 6 ns max turn‑off). The device includes guaranteed on‑resistance matching (0.4 Ω max) and flatness (0.8 Ω max) across the signal range, with off‑leakage current of only 0.5 nA at +25 °C.

The part is supplied in QFN, QSOP, TSSOP and narrow‑SO packages and features TTL/CMOS‑compatible digital inputs. Electrical characteristics such as crosstalk (‑114 dB at 1 MHz) and off‑isolation (‑67 dB at 1 MHz) are specified, along with detailed pin descriptions, ordering information, and recommended over‑voltage protection schemes.
