About this manual

The ADP2121 is a high‑frequency, low‑quiescent step‑down DC‑DC converter optimized for portable applications where board area and battery life are critical. It operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V input and provides selectable fixed output voltages of 1.8 V, 1.82 V, 1.85 V, 1.875 V or 2.3 V, delivering up to 600 mA.

Key features include synchronous rectification, internal soft‑start, cycle‑by‑cycle current‑limit, undervoltage lockout, output‑to‑ground short‑circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and an ultra‑small 6‑ball WLCSP package. The device supports an automatic power‑saving mode that reduces quiescent current to the picoampere range.
