LA E65F is a high-efficiency P-LCC-4 super red LED with enhanced thin film lens. It has 60° beam angle and high light output.
The LS E65F family from OSRAM includes three colour variants – super‑red (LS E65F), amber (LA E65F) and yellow (LY E65F). These LEDs are designed for traffic signals, backlighting, automotive interior lighting, marker lights and other signalling applications. They are supplied in a white P‑LCC‑4 package with colour‑less clear resin and are compatible with all standard SMT assembly techniques.
Key specifications include peak wavelengths of 633 nm (super‑red), 617 nm (amber) and 590 nm (yellow), a 60° viewing angle, optical efficiencies of 42 lm/W (super‑red), 76 lm/W (amber) and 48 lm/W (yellow), typical forward voltage of 1.90 V, maximum forward current of 70 mA, and operation over –40 °C to +100 °C. The devices are RoHS‑compliant, lead‑free and can be soldered using IR reflow or TTW methods. This manual is written in German.
| Peak wavelength (super‑red) | 633 nm |
|---|---|
| Viewing angle | 60° |
| Optical efficiency (super‑red) | 42 lm/W |
| Typical forward voltage (super‑red) | 1.90 V |
| Maximum forward current | 70 mA |
| Operating temperature range | -40 °C … +100 °C |
| Storage temperature range | -40 °C … +100 °C |
The series is offered in three colours: super‑red (LS E65F), amber (LA E65F) and yellow (LY E65F).
The typical forward voltage for the super‑red variant is 1.90 V.
Both IR reflow soldering and TTW (wave) soldering are suitable for the LS E65F family.
The device can handle a maximum forward current of 70 mA at 25 °C.
