About this manual

The 16G044/16G044M comparator provides a high‑speed, adjustable‑threshold phase/frequency detection suitable for PLLs, frequency discriminators and high‑resolution time‑delay measurement. It features a rising‑edge‑triggered design, -122 dBc/Hz phase noise at 1 kHz offset, and excellent reference‑frequency rejection.

The device operates from –55 °C to +125 °C (depending on package) and is offered in several 40‑pin leaded and leadless chip carriers. Pin functions include reference (R), VCO (V), up (U) and down (D) outputs, and a threshold voltage input (VTH). Electrical characteristics such as supply voltages, gain, and output swing are detailed in the datasheet.
