Open the battery compartment, insert two AA (R6, UM‑3) batteries with the correct polarity, and snap the cover back into place.
Set the VOLTAGE SELECTOR on the rear panel to the appropriate voltage (e.g., AC 220/230‑240 V for Asia) before plugging the unit into the wall outlet.
