This document is about Freescale MCF5213 MCU hardware user manual
The M5213EVB is a low‑cost development board for the Freescale MCF5213 ColdFire microcontroller, offering on‑board flash, SRAM, multiple serial ports, and a dBUG firmware monitor for rapid application development. It ships with a wall‑plug power supply, DB9 serial cable, and BDM interface cable, and is intended for hardware or software evaluation in laboratory environments.
The manual covers safety cautions, terminology, board features, getting started steps, power supply details, memory layout, option jumper settings, troubleshooting, and the TRAP #15 utility functions for character I/O and exiting to the monitor. Reference documents and schematics are also listed for further development.
