About this manual

The TPS2048 and TPS2058 are four‑channel high‑side MOSFET power‑distribution switches designed for hot‑plug and heavy‑capacitive load applications. Each channel includes a charge‑pump‑driven driver, over‑current (OCx) logic output, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and a 2.5 ms typical rise time.

Typical applications include notebook, desktop, and portable PCs, monitors, keyboards, scanners, printers, digital cameras, phones, and PBXs. The devices are supplied in a 16‑pin SOIC package and operate over an ambient temperature range of –40 °C to 85 °C.
