About this manual

The METRA HIT 1A and 2A are analog multimeters with a wide range of measurement functions, including voltage (0.15 V to 500 V), current (up to 15 A on the 2A model), resistance (1 Ω to 1 MΩ), capacitance (200 µF to 2 µF) and level detection. All measuring ranges are selected with a rotary switch and the instruments feature a rugged plastic housing with protective rubber cover and an ever‑ready case.

Safety features include IEC/EN 61010‑1 compliance, measuring category II, IP 40 enclosure protection and replaceable fuse links. The manual also lists optional accessories such as protective cases, cable sets and current‑measuring adapters, and provides reference conditions for accuracy and environmental limits.
