The MM5450/5451 LED display driver is a monolithic MOS IC fabricated in an N-Channel, metal-gate process. It can be used in industrial control indicators, relay drivers, digital clocks, thermometers, counters, voltmeters, etc. It has the characteristics of continuous brightness control, serial data input, no load signal requirement, enable, wide power supply operation, TTL compatibility, 34 or 35 outputs, 15mA current capability, and alphanumeric capability.
The MM5450 and MM5451 are monolithic N‑channel MOS ICs designed to drive 4‑ or 5‑digit alphanumeric LED displays. A single pin controls brightness via a reference current set by an external resistor. The devices feature continuous brightness control, serial data input, no‑load signal requirement, and TTL compatibility.
