This document introduces the features and performance of ERSA SMT UNIT 60 A SMD Soldering and Desoldering Station
The ERSA SMT UNIT 60 A soldering station handles virtually any SMD soldering, desoldering or repair job. It features electronic temperature control, antistatic design to MIL‑SPEC/ESA standards, and two separately controlled tools: the ultra‑light ERSA Micro tool soldering iron and the versatile ERSA Pincette 40 desoldering tweezers. A multifunctional holder with swiveling sponge container also serves as a hot‑tip holder and works with any compatible fume extraction system.
Technical data include a 230 V~ supply voltage (50‑60 Hz), 24 V~ secondary voltage, 60 W rating, RESISTRONIC control, and a temperature range of 150 °C‑400 °C for the micro tool. The micro tool weighs about 25 g, heats up to 280 °C in roughly 50 s, and uses a 2 m PVC cable. The Pincette 40 weighs about 75 g, uses a 1.2 m flexible cable, and supports a wide range of desoldering tips for MELF, SOIC, QFP, PLCC and other packages.
