This is a product manual for the Stellaris LM3S2965 CAN evaluation kit
The Stellaris LM3S2965 CAN Evaluation Kit is a compact platform that demonstrates a complete Controller Area Network using two Stellaris microcontrollers. The main evaluation board hosts a Stellaris LM3S2965 microcontroller with an integrated CAN module, while a small CAN device board uses a Stellaris LM3S2110 MCU.
The kit includes hardware features such as an OLED graphics display, user LED, navigation switches, push‑buttons, a magnetic speaker, and standard ARM 20‑pin JTAG and USB debugging interfaces. A CD provides documentation, source‑code examples, and evaluation versions of development tools (Keil MDK‑ARM, IAR Workbench, CodeSourcery GCC).
