About this manual

The UAF42 universal active filter uses a state‑variable analog architecture with on‑chip 1000 pF capacitors trimmed to 0.5 %. It supports low‑pass, high‑pass, band‑pass and band‑reject configurations and is available in 14‑pin DIP (UAF42AP) and 16‑pin SOIC (UAF42AU) packages.

A DOS‑compatible design program simplifies filter design for Butterworth, Chebyshev, Bessel and Inverse Chebyshev types, providing automatic component calculations and performance plots.
