This document introduces the features and functions of Genie2(SG2) intelligent relay from System Automation Division. The product is known for its strong competitiveness, various input/output expansion modules, communication modules, and multiple programming language interfaces.
The SG2 intelligence relay series offers a wide range of I/O configurations, supporting up to 48 points across master, slave, and panel modules. It features a powerful CPU (Win9011 SOC), high‑speed input processing (1 kHz), PWM output, and an LCD with backlight for easy operation.
The device includes multiple communication options, such as Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, and TCP/IP slave modules, with a maximum baud rate of 38.4 kbps. Electrical specifications cover AC input up to 26 V, DC input up to 30 V, and output currents up to 8 A per point, meeting UL and CE standards. This manual is written in Japanese.
| Baud rate | 38.4 kbps (max) |
|---|---|
| AC input voltage | 26 V |
| DC input voltage | 30 V (23.9‑24.1 V typical) |
| Number of I/O points | Up to 48 points (20 master, 24 slave, 4 panel) |
| ON‑to‑OFF response time | 0.6 ms |
The SG2 relay can operate as a Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, or TCP/IP slave module.
The relay supports a maximum baud rate of 38.4 kbps.
It can handle up to 48 I/O points, divided among master, slave, and panel modules.
The relay accepts AC input up to 26 V and DC input up to 30 V (typical 23.9‑24.1 V).
