The 3rd Platform Diagnostic Experience Kit provides an out‑of‑the‑box, GPRS‑enabled solution for gathering on‑board diagnostic data from heavy‑goods (HGV) and light‑commercial (LCV) vehicles. The kit includes a SIM, antenna, cables and connectors, and supports CAN/OBD information reporting to a web‑based portal for up to six months, with the option to extend the service.
Two configurations are offered: the 3P‑X‑DIAG‑1‑L for HGV (J1939/FMS) and the 3P‑X‑DIAG‑2‑L for LCV/car (E‑OBD/J1979). Additional node kits (3P‑DIAG‑1‑N1, 3P‑DIAG‑2‑N1) can be added to existing installations, providing extra hardware and an extended SIM contract.

The kit supports heavy‑goods vehicles (HGV) using J1939/FMS and light‑commercial vehicles (LCV) including cars using E‑OBD/J1979.
A prepaid SIM contract is provided for six months and can be extended with an additional airtime agreement.
