The BTS550P is a Smart Highside High Current Power Switch designed for 12 V and 24 V DC grounded loads with high inrush currents such as lamps and motors. It replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits, offering integrated current‑sense diagnostics.
Key specifications include an operating voltage range of 5.0 V‑34 V, on‑state resistance as low as 33 mΩ, continuous load current up to 97 A (ISO) and a short‑circuit current limit of 180 A. The device incorporates multiple protection functions, including overload, overtemperature, overvoltage (load‑dump), reverse‑battery, and ESD protection.
