This document describes the features and characteristics of Infineon Technologies AG's PROFET® BTS 432 F2 smart highside power switch, including load dump and reverse battery protection, negative voltage clamp at output, short-circuit protection, current limitation, thermal shutdown, diagnostic feedback, open load detection, CMOS compatible input, electrostatic discharge protection, loss of ground protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown.
The BTS432F2 PROFET is an N‑channel vertical power FET with integrated charge‑pump, CMOS‑compatible input and extensive protection functions. It is designed for 12 V and 24 V DC grounded loads, especially inductive loads, and can replace electromechanical relays.
